Description

RNA Clean Magnetic Beads are based on solid phase reverse immobilization (SPRI) technology. These beads, coated with new nucleic acid purification media and used with optimized buffer systems, enable the stable, efficient, and convenient purification of RNA or cDNA from common enzymatic reaction systems. This product is suitable for both manual laboratory operations and high-throughput automated liquid handling workstations.

RNA purification and impurity removal are crucial for RNA-related experiments, including RNA-seq, qPCR, and microarray studies. This product can be widely used in gene sequencing and molecular diagnostics. It is particularly suitable for RNA purification after rRNA removal or DNase I enzyme treatment, purification of in vitro transcription products, and RNA purification in next-generation sequencing (NGS) library construction processes. This product's usage and performance are comparable to the widely used RNAClean XP from Beckman Coulter. RNA Clean Magnetic Beads are also known as DNA/RNA Extraction and Purification Beads, RNA Cleanup & Concentration, NGS Cleanup Magnetic Beads, RNA Clean & Concentrator, RNA Clean-Up, and RNA Cleaner.

These RNA Clean Magnetic Beads are suitable for the purification of both RNA and cDNA or other DNA, meaning they do not specifically distinguish between RNA and DNA. RNA or DNA purification can be carried out after appropriate DNase or RNase treatment. This product is not suitable for the direct extraction of RNA from cells or tissues.

The main operational workflow of this product is as follows: RNA in the sample binds to the beads, and under the influence of an external magnetic field (such as a magnetic separation rack), the beads can quickly and efficiently separate from the corresponding solution. After thorough washing to remove impurities, the RNA is eluted from the beads using an elution buffer, resulting in highly purified RNA samples.

 

Features

  • This product is easy to use and has a high recovery efficiency. The purification of RNA samples can typically be completed within 15 minutes. The recovery rate of this product is generally above 90%, and it is also suitable for the concentration of low-concentration RNA.
  • High specificity and RNA binding capacity. This product has a high binding capacity and can quickly separate and purify RNA from different systems. It is not prone to nonspecific adsorption and can quickly and effectively remove unincorporated dNTPs or NTPs, primers, primer dimers, salts, and other impurities.
  • This product has strong compatibility. It is suitable not only for manual operations with small samples but also for high-throughput automated screening systems.
  • Safe and environmentally friendly. Compared to traditional RNA recovery methods, this product avoids the use of organic solvents such as phenol and chloroform, making it safer to use.

 

Precautions

  • Anhydrous ethanol and magnetic separation devices are required, which we can also provide.
  • Ensure RNase-free conditions during the operation. Wear a mask and gloves to prevent RNase contamination from your body. Avoid breathing or speaking over samples or reagents to prevent RNase contamination. For removing RNase from the work environment, we recommend using RNase and DNase Away (R0123) produced by Beyotime to clean surfaces, equipment, or other contact areas.
  • All reagents and consumables used should be RNase-free. Handle carefully to avoid contamination. If consumables might be contaminated with RNase, consider soaking them overnight in 0.01% DEPC water, followed by autoclaving and drying.
  • Avoid freezing and high-speed centrifugation of this product.
  • To ensure RNA recovery efficiency, remove the magnetic beads from the 4ºC refrigerator before use, or take the required amount and let it equilibrate to room temperature before using.
  • When dispensing or using the beads, gently vortex or invert the tube several times to ensure the beads are well mixed.
  • It is recommended to prepare 80% (v/v) ethanol solution fresh before use, as ethanol evaporation may affect recovery efficiency.
  • Do not overdry the beads; excessive drying can lead to irreversible aggregation, reducing elution efficiency.
  • This product is for scientific research use by trained professionals only. It is not for clinical diagnosis or treatment, food, or drug use, and should not be stored in residential areas.
  • For your safety and health, please wear a lab coat and disposable gloves while handling.

Store at 4ºC, valid for one year.
